Creative services · LinkedIn ad video

Ad creative that renders the same way every time.

Give us the brief. We render your LinkedIn ad in every ratio you need, to LinkedIn's own specs, with a human approving the copy before finals. Start with a conversation.

The problem

LinkedIn video creative is slow, and then it is inconsistent.

A single LinkedIn ad rarely needs one video. The feed wants a portrait cut, the square works harder in some placements, stories wants the vertical, and someone always asks for the landscape. That is four exports, each with its own safe zones to respect, and every one of them is a place for the brand to drift.

The traditional route is a production cycle: brief, storyboard, edit, revisions, re-export per ratio. It works, and it is measured in weeks. The newer route is a general-purpose AI video generator, which is fast and will happily compose a layout you never approved, in type you do not use, with copy that spills into the space LinkedIn covers with its own interface.

Neither problem is really about speed. It is that the output is not reproducible. Ask for the same thing twice and you get two different things, so nothing you learn about the creative carries forward.

How it works

How MxD produces your LinkedIn ad video

  1. We build your brand into the engine when we onboard you

The compositions are authored by people, and your brand kit is configured as part of onboarding. There is nothing for you to upload. This is set-up work we do once, with you, before the first ad.

  2. You give us the brief in plain English

What the ad is for, what it should say, which ratios you want. That is the whole input. No storyboard, no asset pack, no shot list.

  3. We draft, you review, we change it in plain English

The brief is turned into a draft on one of your approved compositions. A person at MxD reviews it, and you can ask for changes in ordinary language. Nothing goes to finals unattended.

  4. You get finished MP4s, one per ratio

Each ratio renders independently at 1080x1350, 1080x1080, 1080x1920 and 1920x1080, in H.264 at 30fps, with a poster frame. You download the files and run them wherever you run your LinkedIn ads.

What you get

What MxD delivers with the LinkedIn ad video engine

Finished LinkedIn ad video, in every ratio, built so it cannot go off-brand.

You get downloadable MP4 files, one per aspect ratio you asked for, each rendered to LinkedIn's ad specifications with its safe zones respected and its poster frame derived from the first frame.

Brand safety by construction

The model does not write layout. It fills typed slots on compositions a person authored, with hard character caps, and anything that fails validation is rejected before it renders. Going off-brand is not a rule it has been asked to follow, it is a thing it cannot do.

Four ratios, each rendered properly

1080x1350, 1080x1080, 1080x1920 and 1920x1080, rendered independently rather than cropped from one master, with LinkedIn's safe zones applied per ratio so copy stays clear of the interface. Duration sits inside LinkedIn's 6 to 15 second window.

Reproducible, not resampled

Animation is a paused timeline seeked frame by frame, with no clocks and no random draws, so the same brief and the same inputs reproduce the same frames. Change one line of copy and that is the only thing that changes.

Full capability list

Everything the engine does today

We set the engine up for your brand and run it for you, so this describes what your engagement includes. Every line below is something the engine does today, not something planned.

The brief and the guardrails

  • A written brief is the inputone plain-English brief of up to four thousand characters is the whole creative instruction
  • Aspect ratios chosen per runany combination of 4:5, 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9, requested up front
  • Typed slots, not free layoutthe agent picks a composition our designers authored and fills its named fields
  • Schema validation with retryanything that does not match the composition's schema is rejected and reworked before rendering
  • The agent cannot write codeno shell, no file access and no ability to author layout, so brand safety is structural

How each run is produced

  • Deterministic rendera paused timeline is stepped frame by frame with no clocks and no random draws
  • Every ratio rendered on its owneach size is composed for its own canvas rather than cropped from one master
  • One failure does not sink the restif a single ratio fails to render, the others are still delivered
  • Human approval before finalsthe run parks for review and nothing is treated as finished until a person signs it off
  • Plain-English revision roundsfeedback goes back as a written nudge rather than as a re-specified brief

Output and delivery

  • An MP4 per aspect ratioH.264 at 30fps, rendered at high quality
  • LinkedIn specification sizes1080x1350, 1080x1080, 1080x1920 and 1920x1080
  • Safe zones applied per ratiocopy is kept clear of the areas LinkedIn's interface covers on each size
  • A poster frame per videoa still image is taken from the first frame of each render
  • Delivered on a hosted URLeach file is uploaded and handed over as a link you can download and upload to LinkedIn yourself
Why it is different

Video treated as code, not as a lucky take.

Most AI video tools sample a new result every time you ask, which is exactly why they are hard to run a brand on. Ours does the opposite. The compositions are written as code, animation runs on a frame clock rather than a wall clock, and remote assets and random values are forbidden inside them. The consequence is boring and valuable: the same brief and the same inputs give you the same frames back.

The second difference is where the intelligence sits. The model chooses a composition and supplies parameters. It has no shell, no file access and no ability to write layout, and its output is checked against a strict schema before anything renders. Brand consistency is structural rather than a line in a prompt, which is why we can promise it.

And we will say what it does not do. It is built to LinkedIn's ad specs, so that is what we claim it for. It does not connect to your LinkedIn ad account, and it does not publish or schedule anything, you take the files and run them. It does not make avatar or talking-head video. It does not compose free-form layouts on request, and that constraint is the point rather than a gap we are hiding.

Compare

Same brief. A result you can reproduce.

The contrast is not speed for its own sake. It is whether the creative that comes back is to LinkedIn's spec, inside your brand, and the same the second time you ask.

Common
Questions

  1. Will the videos actually look like our brand?

Yes, once we have onboarded you. Your brand kit is configured into the engine as set-up work at the start of the engagement, and the compositions are authored around it. It is worth being clear that this happens at onboarding rather than automatically, which is also why we would want that conversation before promising you a turnaround.

  2. What do we need to send you?

A written brief. There is nothing to upload: no logo file, no footage, no screenshots, no font files and no colour codes, because your brand is already configured in from onboarding. Tell us what the ad is for, what it should say, and which ratios you want.

  3. Does it post to LinkedIn for us?

No. There is no LinkedIn account connection and no publishing or scheduling. You get the MP4 files and the poster frames, and you upload them into your ad account, or we do it as part of a wider paid social engagement.

  4. Is this AI generating a video from scratch?

Not in the way that phrase usually means. The model picks one of your approved compositions and fills its text slots within fixed character limits. It never writes layout, animation or code. That is a deliberate constraint: it is what makes the output predictable and keeps it inside your brand.

  5. What about other platforms, or longer videos?

The engine is built to LinkedIn's ad specs, including its aspect ratios, safe zones and the 6 to 15 second duration window, so LinkedIn is what we claim it for. If you need creative for other placements or longer formats, that is a Creative Services conversation and we will scope it as one.
