Analytics Settings
We use analytics to understand how our sites are used, as described in section 3 of our Privacy Policy. You can turn it off for this browser here. The setting applies to mxd.digital, to our tracked links on go.mxd.digital, and to our client onboarding portal.
Checking your current setting…
What turning it off does
From the moment you turn analytics off, this browser stops sending us product analytics, and it stops being associated with any email address you may have given us. If you later click one of our tracked links or open an onboarding link, those are still not associated with you. It also stops the third-party measurement and advertising tags this site loads - Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag - from loading at all in this browser, and stops us sending LinkedIn a conversion when you submit a form. The setting is stored as a cookie for one year; clearing your cookies will reset it. The page reloads when you change the setting, because a tag that has already loaded cannot be unloaded — only not loaded again.
What it does not do
Turning analytics off does not delete what we already hold. To have your analytics history removed, email [email protected] and we will delete it by hand; there are step-by-step instructions on our data deletion page. It also does not affect the enquiries you send us through our forms - those are deliberate messages to us and reach our inbox and CRM regardless of this setting. And it covers this browser only: it is a cookie, so another device or another browser is a separate choice.
